The show might be called Nobody Wants This but basically everyone on the internet cannot get enough of Adam Brody’s hot rabbi and his love story with Kristin Bell’s Joanne. Not only did they have one of the greatest kiss scenes on TV that might even rival our top faves of all time (looking at you, New Girl), but they are leaving us wanting a lot more as they take their relationship to the next level. So are we going to get more of this wild love story?

Are we getting a season 2 of Nobody Wants This?
After patiently waiting for any answer, Netflix confirmed on October 10, 2025 that the series will be back for a second season.
Is there a first look at season 2?
I’m so glad you asked. Netflix announced in March that Nobody Wants This season 2 was officially in production and released a little BTS image to prove it.
And then later in the summer, they released way more images of the new season.
What will season 2 be about?
We don’t have a trailer yet, so we’ll have to wait and see what exactly it will be about. But considering that Joanne and Noah (spoiler alert) decide to still stay together, things are only getting started for them. And it looks like they’ll have at least some time of happiness (see photo above). That said, Noah will have a lot to face as this means that he’ll have to step away from the head rabbi position, which will no doubt cause some tension between them.
But, really, who knows what might happen? Only time (and a new season) can tell!
Who is joining the cast of Nobody Wants This season 2?
Variety revealed in February 2025 that Leighton Meester and Miles Fowler will both be joining season 2 of Nobody Wants This as guest stars (although Leighton is not in any of the photos above). Leighton will be playing Abby, “Joanne’s middle school nemesis who is now an Instagram mommy influencer.” Miles is playing Lenny “Noah’s Matzah Ballers teammate who gets set up with Morgan.” You can see Miles in the dinner scene above.
Miles will have some competition for Morgan’s heart, however, as Deadline reported that Succession alum Arian Moayed would also be joining the Nobody Wants This season 2 cast as Dr. Andy, a potential love interest for Morgan. Meanwhile, the show has also cast Alex Karpovsky as Big Noah, a new rabbi at Noah’s temple.
When will season 2 of Nobody Wants This premiere?
According the Netflix, season 2 will premiere on October 23, 2025, so there won’t be too much of a wait to see what happens next.
